LiLV Listener August Meet Up: The (FULL) Details
Okay, here’s the scoop. Many of the folks who emailed us at meetup@livinginlv.com suggested our gathering should take place at the Whitney Villa. I think this is a great idea(!). . .and we were moving toward making that happen when we got word that some of our guest’s ankle monitors would not let them travel to our neck of the woods.
Maybe next time, Troy. (I keed, I keed.)
Anywho, the day with the most votes turned out to be Friday, August 15th. This works well–it gives us a chance to meet but doesn’t cut into what may be the last night in Las Vegas (Saturday) for many of the folks attending the New Media Expo. here’s the scoop:
Location: Trader Vic’s (in The Miracle Mile Shopping Center, attached to Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino)
Date: Friday, August 15
Time: 5PM
Attire: Probably a good idea
Melissa and I are looking forward to meeting y’all! And remember, there’s a gift waiting for the first 10 people who introduce him/herself to me OR my Naughty Jelly Sweet!!

Scott, the fact that you made a website for the Whitney Villa is amazingly awesome and hilarious. That was a really funny idea.

Thanks, Kyle! I came up with that idea because we were having so much fun with all the visitors we were receiving in LV when we first moved here. I even have little Whitney Villa cardboard tents that welcome our guests to their room.
