Sneak Peek: Video of my 2008 New Media Expo Presentation
I’ve had some LiLV listeners ask me about my session at the 2008 New Media Expo, which took place a couple weeks ago. It went very well–received a lot of nice comments after the session and came home to a large number of email “thanks” as well. I thought I’d share a bit of a video that was taken during the session with those LiLV listeners who are into such things (and are reading this on our website). Below is a video clip of the first few minutes of the session. . .(do you guys recognize that music in the beginning?)

Scott: Watched the video with great interest. You certainly didn’t disappoint. The presentation was full of informative and helpful content, incorporated with your wonderful sense of humor and personality. Sorry I couldn’t be there to hear it in it’s entirety. Nicely done and thanks for sharing.

Scott, hmmm I wondered what song that was……I loved your presentation (what I got to see of it). I really want to change my major to New Media Marketing but I think I made that up? I wish I could see more. Wish I could of gone to the new media expo, maybe next year when I’m working…..
XOXO

Thanks, Kendall.
What’s funny is that there are a few colleges (including UC Berkeley) that allow you to create your own major! Pretty cool, dontcha think?

Scott,
I go to Empire State College (www.esc.edu), and I take all my classes online and they allow you to “design” your own degree but there aren’t enough courses yet focusing on new media. The closest is Internet Marketing, which I’m taking now.
So in addition to being a Marketing Major, I try to teach myself the “new media” stuff in my spare time.
XOXO
