Once you’ve lived in Las Vegas long enough, you begin to notice that many of the shows on the Strip are similar. Same gags. Same stunts. Same music. But in this episode of the Living in Las Vegas Podcast, we’ve come across a show that is uniquely funny, a little dirty, full of “how are they doing that” moments, and should be required viewing for all producers in the city. This is the perfect example of what makes being a Las Vegas local so cool! Every Monday night, starting at 11:00PM and going until 1:00AM Tuesday morning, a half dozen or more Las Vegas performers get together to perform for each other “After the Show”, that is, after their regular gigs. Even better, Las Vegas locals are invited to join the fun for free.
I’d heard about After the Show for some time and wanted to see what it was all about for ourselves. So, this special late-night edition of the Living in Las Vegas Podcast features our review of one of the coolest ideas in town. Show notes:

Join Melissa and me as we take in a 51’s AAA baseball game this Saturday. This is one of our favorite things to do in Las Vegas and will be our first visit for 2009.
