#123: Road Trip [or How to Provoke a Steer to Charge Your Car]
September 7, 2011
Because Las Vegas is close to so many other cool places, for this episode of Living in Las Vegas, we thought we’d take a bit of a road trip over the Labor Day weekend. We visited Flagstaff, saw Huey Lewis and the News, and spent some time in Sedona. On the way home, we thought we’d stop by the Grand Canyon. That’s when the trouble started. Show notes:

#121: Should You (or Your Parents) Retire in Las Vegas?
August 24, 2011
After talking about the upcoming meetup, car accidents on 215, one of the best comedy shows we’ve ever seen, and the fact that MGM has to deal with two disasters on their hands (Kardashians and the Harmon Tower), we consider whether or not we did the right thing by having Scott’s mom finally retire in Las Vegas. 91: A Local’s Look at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
January 12, 2011
There a lot riding on the success of the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Many think it’s likely to be the last big hotel/casino built in Las Vegas for another decade. It’s located right next to (and has to compete with) CityCenter, the $8Billion+, mixed-use complex owned by MGM Resorts International. And unlike most other Strip properties, it’s doesn’t appear to have a large “player’s club” to work with. In this edition of the Living in Las Vegas Podcast, we talk about the newest property on The Strip. Show notes:
- Scott puts his wardrobe to a vote on the live chat. And loses.
- Weather (c-c-c-cold) / LiLV Pool (blech)

Apparently, this Facebook thing is all the rage. The kids like it, companies are trying to make money with it, and you don’t have to spend fifteen minutes trying to figure out how to update all your followers/friends/fans in 140 characters. I have a personal page on the Facebook and have now added a “FAN” page for the Living in Las Vegas Podcast.
Are you feeling fantastic? Want to see videos that aren’t added to our main website? Then click the thingy below and join the fun!
