With all the news about home foreclosures in Las Vegas (we’re #1, we’re #1), it isn’t terribly surprising that business foreclosures pop up in the news from time to time. . .unless it’s one of your favorite shopping, eating, and hanging out locations.

Hey everybody, just a quick post letting everybody know that the VEGAS VIDEO NETWORK is online!
The Vegas Video Network is an online broadcasting network that specializes in insider news and expert views about Las Vegas.
We built the VEGAS VIDEO NETWORK to end the struggle of finding Vegas-related video that is centrally located, professionally-produced, timely and relevant. We’re driven upon three key principles:
- An easy-to-use website
- The sophistication and live aspects of Broadcast TV
- Las Vegas experts who promote the city and are actively engaged with their viewers
We had our Launch Party last Saturday. Lots of folks in attendance, both at the studio and online (15 states, UK, Germany, Canada and Russia). It went out live (naturally) and the video of the festivities is now available as a video-on-demand file.
Please take a moment and visit the site. We’ve got a bunch of great shows lined up on the network – something for everybody.

While there are certainly a few things making life in Las Vegas a bit tough for many of our fellow Las Vegans (unemployment and housing prices, for example), we love that we live in a city that was once our go-to place for weekend getaways. We’re just 30 minutes away from some of the best food, lodging and entertainment the country has to offer.
Which is pretty cool.

One of our favorite things to do here in Las Vegas is to hang out at the LA Comedy Club. We’ve been fans of the comedy club since it launched at Palace Stations. It’s now located downtown at the Four Queens Casino.

Melissa just left a message on my office voice mail. . .Danny Gans, who was headlining at Encore (and was a long-time headliner at the Mirage) has died.
This is sad news. He was a classic Las Vegas act. . .of which there really aren’t many left.
According to TMZ, Mr. Gans died at 3AM in his home in Las Vegas. The news agency reports that his wife discovered his body and called for help.
Danny Gas was 57 52-years-old.
